Chinese Ambassador visits the General Secretariat of FLACSO

On Wednesday July 28 , the General Secretary of FLACSO, Dr. Josette Altmann-Borbón, received the visit of His Excellency Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Costa Rica, Mr. Tang Heng, and the Head of the Political Section from the diplomatic mission, Mrs. Li Bin.

The M.A. Lorena Aguilar, Regional Coordinator for International Cooperation and Research, and the M.A. Sergio Rivero, Research Associate on Chinese Affairs also participated in the meeting.

The visit served to establish a dialogue to develop scenarios for joint cooperation of mutual benefit, as well as academic exchange between FLACSO and the People's Republic of China.
