The chair seeks to develop executive seminars and regional continuing training courses, in conjunction with the Academic Units interested in studies on Contemporary China and its relationship with Latin America and the Caribbean.

Diploma in Getting to Know China: Culture, Philosophy and Historical Development of the Asian Giant

The diploma offers a comprehensive view of the main relevant aspects of Chinese reality by addressing four seminars that will provide a general understanding of the characteristics of the philosophy, culture, politics, history and government of contemporary China.

Advanced Diploma in Latin American and Chinese Studies

The originality of this proposal lies in integrating the study of China's economic and political system internally and its foreign policy and, based on this, analyzing the process of building and evolving bilateral and regional ties with Latin America and its multiple dimensions.
