The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) is the principal academic institution and comprehensive research center of the People's Republic of China in the fields of philosophy and social sciences. Founded in May 1977, CASS replaced the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Today, CASS comprises 31 research institutes and 45 research centers, conducting activities across nearly 300 sub-disciplines. The promotion of broad international academic exchanges is one of CASS’s central priorities and has steadily intensified over recent decades.

Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) is a higher education institution directly administered by the Ministry of Education. It is the only international university whose primary mission is the global teaching of the Chinese language, as well as hosting international students who come to China to study the language and learn about its culture.

The Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies (ACCWS) is a national non-profit institution dedicated to advancing cutting-edge research in international communication and to strengthening global exchange and cooperation.
