She holds a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics (United Kingdom). She directs the Master's Program in International Relations at FLACSO Argentina and is a Senior Researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET), which she joined in 1987. Throughout her career, she has been a visiting professor at the Universities of Oxford and Manchester, and recently at the German Institute of Global Affairs. In 2017, she was awarded the Distinguished Scholar of the Global South Prize by the Global South section of the International Studies Association. Her research in the field of international political economy focuses on processes and actors in multilateralism, regional integration, the political economy of the international economic system, and Brazil and China in the emerging world order.

She holds a PhD in Social Sciences from FLACSO Argentina. She is a researcher in the International Relations Area at FLACSO Argentina and an assistant researcher at CONICET, within the framework of the Program for Strengthening Research and Cooperation with China/Asia in R&D&I. She has completed postgraduate research stays at Fudan University (2012), Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (2014), Brown University (2018), and the Institute of Latin American Studies, Columbia University (2021). Her research focuses on the economic and financial ties between China and Latin America and Argentina from an international political economy perspective. Her publications analyze China's role in the Argentine political economy, with a focus on strategic sectors, and the implications of relations between China and Latin American countries for their development models and international integration strategies.
